Prophecy Ministry
November 9, 2007
We would like to invite you to one of our most powerful and encouraging ministries here at the HOP-Hb. The prophecy team has been trained to prophecy according to 1Corinthians 14:3. Our desire is to see you edified and exhorted that you may draw closer to the Lord. We want you to receive encouragement in your destiny with Him. We believe God loves everyone and deeply desires that they know His love and affection for them. We are praying that the spirit of truth and revelation will come and be a light for you so that you will eagerly seek after the Lord in a fresh, passionate, and diligent manner. Our team only knows in part, and never sees the whole picture of your life. We speak only the revelation we have with the wisdom at this time, according to our faith (Romans 12:6).We ask that everyone would take their word before Jesus in prayer, allowing Him to confirm it to them. The words that are received in the prophetic rooms are meant to be encouraging and not in any way taken as advice or direction for your life. Christopher and I have been through the training and absolutely love this ministry. For many of you this must sound strange, and when I first heard I thought the same. So let me just tell you my testimony from my first time in the prophesy rooms. I had been through a very hard time for about six months. I was full of condemnation and fear of failing. I had strived so hard to run after God but nothing seemed to go right no matter how much I tried. I felt ugly and shameful before the Lord, let’s just say my quiet times weren’t too much fun, they were just a spiritual chore to me. I could not face the Lord boldly and with confidence knowing that He loved me and cherished me. When I heard about the prophecy rooms I was scared half to death. I thought that they would tell me how disappointed God was in me and that if I really wanted to go after God I would have to pick it up or something. Boy was I surprised! The words of encouragement that they spoke over my life were so personal and right on. I did not know any one on the team at that time and they had no clue about how condemned I was. I went home and prayed over their words and truly felt the peace of knowing that even in through my mistakes and that He really would do what He promised and finish the work He started in me. Many of you who know me personally can probably now sense a new confidence and joy in my walk with the Lord. I can honestly say that the prophesy ministry truly was a turning point in my life. I have grown so much knowing how God truly feels about me. Our entire ministry is born out of the knowledge that God in Heaven is a deeply loving heavenly Father. We have found Him to be happy and zealous in His love for us. His Son is an affectionate Bridegroom, and it is in this place of romance and partnership that sets us free to go hard after God. We love Him, because He first loved us. If we allow Him He continues to pursue us as a God who delights in His own. This knowledge allows us, even in our weaknesses, to run to Him when we fail rather than to hide and try to fix ourselves before we can approach Him. We pray that you also will have a revelation of His care and love for you. Please come and see for yourself! -S.C.
Jesus, Desire of the Nations

“God, I pray Thee, light these idle sticks of my life and may I burn for Thee. Consume my life, my God, for it is Thine. I seek not a long life, but a full one, like you, LORD Jesus.”..:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />

God throughout the Bible is searching for a people that will be wholehearted toward Him in Love. Many have exercised great religious devotion in saying their prayers, attending Church, and serving, yet God is seeking for relationship with man in a far more personal and intimate way. Jesus said “The Father seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24 The apostles characterized this life by demonstrating and teaching the truths they learned from Christ throughout their letters and in the Churches they planted.
I believe God is raising up a people that are wholehearted in Love for His Son (John 17:26). These people’s lives will be firmly rooted in the knowledge of God and intimacy with Jesus. Isaiah spoke of a day when God’s people would be made joyful in His House of Prayer (Is. 56:7). I went to church bored stiff for years, and I’m sure many of you have as well. Boredom and apostolic Christianity are at the end of two opposite extremes. Enjoyable prayer is the promise to every believer if we learn to give our hearts fully to Jesus. This is more than repeating prayers everyday to a God we don’t know if he hears or feels our desires.
God will have a people that move fully with His heart and desire what He desires. He will reveal Himself to the one that Loves Him fully (John 14:21). I couldn’t imagine living any other way, going back to my old lifestyle. I only desire more fire on my heart. There is a reality we all have to deal with, and this is, do we really know Him? Do we Love Him with all our hearts? This is our one life to determine our eternal standing with God. Has His death at Calvary given us assurance of sins forgiven and love for Him? I want to be found faithful on that Day, having given my all for the One who gave His All. I pray we may give our all to see Jesus Glorified in the Nations.
Malachi 1:11 “For from the rising to the setting of the sun my Name will be great amongst the nations, says the Lord and incense (prayer/ worship Rev. 5:8) shall be offered unto my name.”
